“The Bachelor of Science Degree was a personal goal I set many years ago. For the most part it is a personal achievement that will benefit my future career endeavors, as well as making me more marketable in the Radiologic field. My Father always told me:

Education is something no one can ever take from you, if you want go get it. You are the only limitation.

I work full time and numerous hours of overtime, raise four girls, and maintain an average GPA. All my work will pay off in the form of confidence, knowledge, and application of advanced interdepartmental workings. I am currently training for a director position. Everything that I have learned can be applied in that position on a daily basis.

Basically the BS I am working for will enable me as a Director to run an effective and efficient department with the goals of positive patient satisfaction, Physicians’s confidence, and Administration’s respect. The tech’s I lead have learned along with me, allowing to improve employee satisfaction and our customer service. All in all, the advanced education has been a win-win situation for the facility I work in, the employee’s under me, and our patients.”
