Leanna Neubrander has been a faculty member at Adventist University of Health Sciences (ADU) since 2006. Ms. Neubrander serves as the clinical coordinator and instructor for the A.S. Radiography program, and is lead instructor for the CT courses in the B.S. Radiologic Sciences program. Ms. Neubrander graduated with her A.S. degree in Radiography and B.S. in Radiologic Sciences from ADU, and obtained her master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University in Health Sciences with a concentration in Higher Education. She is certified and proficient in radiography and computed tomography (CT), and is trained in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Ms. Neubrander is an active member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) and Association of Educators in Imaging and Radiologic Sciences (AEIRS), and has spoken at state, national, and international conferences on various topics in imaging and higher education. In 2012, she received the ADU Merit Award for Scholarship, due in part to her research and publication on tailoring instructional strategies to a student’s level of clinical experience. Ms. Neubrander continues to participate in research on higher education topics.
