Dr. Rilla Taylor
Dr. Rilla Taylor’s background includes a wide variety of clinical experience in obstetrics/midwifery, tuberculosis, operating room/anesthesia, and medical-surgical nursing, including critical care. She held certification in critical care nursing (CCRN) for a 10-year period. Dr. Taylor has wide teaching and administrative experience, having directed the Kanye Hospital School of Nursing (RN and LPN programs) in Botswana for 15 years, and chaired the Andrews University Department of Nursing for more than 20 years. In both positions, she taught a variety of nursing courses at undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr. Taylor has served the National League for Nursing as a site visitor for many years. She enjoys her three children, their spouses, her four grandchildren, as well as her pets, Zoro and Sheba.
