Dr. Lynelle Callender
Dr. Lynelle Callender attended Loma Linda University in California where she earned a BSN with a minor in Psychology and a certification in Public Health Nursing. She attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she earned a Master’s of Public Health Certificate in Public Health Leadership. She holds a Master’s in Nursing with an emphasis in Informatics from Walden
University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Recently, she completed the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program with a concentration in Administration and an emphasis in Education. Her doctoral degree is from the Iva V. Moffett School of Nursing at Samford University. She coordinates Nursing Informatics and Leadership and Management. She has taught nursing since 2006 at Southern Adventist University and Georgia Highlands College prior to coming to Adventist University of Health Sciences. She is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Golden Key International Honor Society, and the president of ADU’s Nursing Honor Society.
