I have an associates degree in radiology and allied health science. I have been working in radiology as a tech and ct tech for 13 years but am not registered by ARRT. I would like to get a BS in radiology and would like to enter your program. To get registered, and I have inquired, I would would have to start over from the beginning. I don’t plan on doing that, any suggestions?

We do require you to be ARRT registered. The ARRT has recently changed some of their requirements about what is required to sit for their registry exam. If you haven’t inquired within the last 6-months I would give them a call and double check. Recently, we have had several students enter our program or were initially told they had to start over from the beginning that were eventually allowed to sit for and pass the registry.

Im tryna find a school or online classes to do radiology, im in bronx,ny and i have a 9month old baby

Hi Quianna, Our online program is a completion degree. You have to be ARRT registered in Radiography to qualify for the online program. There are a certain amount of hands-on clinical hours that you must have to work in this field and we aren’t able to offer that in the online program. Your advisor sent you an email with some accredited programs in your area. Thanks!

Thank you for contacting us for this program you have to hold a current registration in Radiography, Radiologic Technology, Radiologic Sciences, or Nuclear Medicine Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
