A curriculum rich in science and math is important for any online Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences degree. Adventist University of Health Sciences (formerly Florida Hospital College) certainly meets that requirement – and more.

Our challenging online program offers business skills in addition to radiography skills, offering students all the value of a healthcare administration degree while still focusing on radiography theory and practice. Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Organizational Behavior classes teach the skills to help you run an imaging department. Students form budget plans and learn marketing techniques that are immediately applicable to their work environments. The Electronic Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) is uniquely threaded into each class, offering students further exposure to this evolving aspect of imaging.

In addition, the program is grounded in Christian principles and integrated with courses from the arts as well as the sciences and business. This blended curriculum enriches students and contributes to their development of a broader world view of radiologic sciences and patients. Our full-time faculty also helps students develop self-awareness with regards to ethical and moral standards in the workplace. By modeling exceptional caring for students as individuals, the faculty and support team of Adventist University of Health Sciences provide a crystal clear image for students of the consummate healthcare professional.

An equally important facet of this program for working professionals is that it is offered totally online. No campus visits are required. In order to qualify for our program, you must be currently registered with the ARRT or NMTCB. While we do accept students from around the world, the ARRT and NMTCB are U.S. institutions. If you’d like to speak to someone about your specific qualifications and eligibility, call 1-888-768-6276 and Press 2 when prompted.

Hi, i wanted to continue my Bachelors degree.i been a tech for 15 years. during my school year i didn’t pay attention to my GPA which is 2.05, but am ARRT certified in radiography and MRI. what keeps me enrolling is the requirement you put in place regarding GPA of 2.5 which i don’t have.

    thank you

    • jrodriguez says:

Hi Fred, Unfortunately we do require the 2.5 GPA. If you speak with one of our admissions specialists they can assist you in determining what classes you can take at a local community college in order to raise your GPA and make sure those classes will also transfer into our program as well.

In order to qualify for our program you first have to become ARRT registered in Radiography. I would recommend contacting them to find out how to become eligible to sit for their licensing exam. If you are able to become registered with them you would then qualify for our program. Thanks!
