Admission Requirements

Online Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Both associate degree and ACEN (formerly NLNAC)-accredited diploma program graduates are eligible for admission with the following requirements:

ADU also provides a path for BSN students with diplomas from institutions without ACEN accreditation. This includes RNs located outside of the U.S. If you have passed the NCLEX-RN exam, you are eligible to enter the program with a bridge status. Ask an Enrollment Specialist how to apply your credits toward your BSN.

Online Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences (BSRS)

Both associate degree and JRCERT-approved diploma or certificate graduates can be eligible for admission with the following requirements:

Additional Considerations

Students can be accepted into the BSRS program with bridge status if they are registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), have graduated from a certificate program or have graduated from a JRCERT-approved radiologic technology program, but do not have an associate degree from a regionally accredited institution. Call your Online Enrollment Specialist for more information.

Diploma/Certificate Graduates

Applicants who do not possess an associate degree in Radiography or Nuclear Medicine Technology will be required to take an additional 27 credit hours of cognate courses with a minimum grade of 2.0. Applicants may transfer some credits from regionally accredited institutions or have successfully challenged courses through a CLEP exam.

Online Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (BSDMS)

Both associate degree and CAAHEP-accredited diploma or certificate graduates can be eligible for admission with the following requirements:

Online Master of Healthcare Administration in Strategy and Innovation (MHA-SI)

Transfer Credits

Students entering Adventist University of Health Sciences programs may transfer a certain number of credits from regionally accredited institutions. As part of the application process, a transfer credit evaluation will be performed on all previous college coursework. Tuition

Online Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

The online BSN tuition is $460 per credit hour. There are 68 total trimester credit hours. The nursing courses can be completed in as few as 18 months.

Online Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (BSDMS)

The online BSDMS tuition is $460 per credit hour. There are 67 total trimester credit hours. The program can be completed in as few as 24 months.

Online Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences (BSRS)

The online BSRS tuition is $460 per credit hour. There are 66 total trimester credit hours. The program can be completed in as few as 24 months.

Online Master of Healthcare Administration in Strategy and Innovation (MHA-SI)

The online MHA tuition is $535 per credit hour. There are 39 total semester credit hours for BS to MHA and 60 total semester credit hours for AS to MHA. BS to MHA can be completed in as few as 24 months. AS to MHA can be completed in as few as 36 months.

Online Executive Master of Healthcare Administration (EMHA)

The online EMHA tuition is $535 per credit hour. There are 33 total semester credit hours. The program can be completed in as few as 19 months.

Financial Aid

We encourage every student to explore financial aid opportunities that assist in funding your degree. This includes federal grants, local and national scholarships, ADU scholarships, and the potential for employer reimbursement. Talk to your Enrollment Specialist to discuss options that might be available to you.

RN to BSN Employer Reimbursement

Many of our bachelor’s in nursing students work in the Florida Hospital System, which offers qualified students employer reimbursement to fund their healthcare degrees.

To apply, call 407-303-3457 to consult the tuition reimbursement team. Next, your director must approve you for tuition reimbursement. Once you have approval, the tuition reimbursement team helps you manage your tuition reimbursement throughout your online nursing program.
