Deena Slockett has been a faculty member at Adventist University of Health Sciences since 1997. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiologic Sciences and is co-chair of the Department. Ms. Slockett earned her master’s degree at Webster University. She was nominated by her students and received the Who’s Who Among Teachers award in 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2007. She is a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Some of Ms. Slockett’s goals include:helping her students develop their capacity for independent and ongoing learning, cultivating their appreciation for quality work and quality of life, and acquiring the necessary intellectual skills to participate in research throughout their professional careers. She enjoys snow skiing, reading, and the ocean in her leisure time.
