Genese Gibson chairs the Department of Radiologic Sciences at Adventist University of Health Sciences and has been a part of the University since it’s inception in 1992. Ms. Gibson has been teaching in the field of radiography since 1982. Her department pioneered online learning on the campus, helping to launch the first online degree. Ms. Gibson earned her master’s degree from Webster University. She is a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists and serves on the membership committee of the Association of Educators in Imaging and Radiologic Sciences. Some of Ms. Gibson’s goals for students in the imaging programs are to help cultivate their core values and provide them with the opportunity to pursue life-long learning. She enjoys traveling, biking, and reading biographies about people who have made significant changes in the world.
