Dr. Don Williams is Assistant to the President of Adventist University of Health Sciences with specific responsibilities for developing, promoting and sustaining mission. Don has been a student Missionary in New Guinea, pastor, high school teacher in Singapore, a chaplain and a counselor. He has been at Adventist University since it opened its doors in 1992. He has served as Chair of the General Education Department and was the Academic Dean for thirteen years. Don has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master of Divinity from Andrews University and a Ph.D. in Counseling from Purdue University. He and his wife, Merrie Lyn, have been married for 45 years and have two children and five grandchildren.
